Mayor of Havant’s Chosen Charity
This year Mayor of Havant is Prad Bains. A local young man, who attended Padnell Infant and Junior and Cowplain.
He has a mentoring role at College and is very passionate in his role as Mayor, serving his community.
Prad chose Hannah’s Appeal to be his Mayor’s Charity and will be working hard throughout his year as Mayor to raise both vital funds and awareness.
He has lots of events planned: Golf day, Football match, Cricket Match, Quiz nights etc.
Prad’s first major fundraiser is to be the launch of “Think Pink Week! in September, inviting all schools and colleges to take part. Students are to swap their uniforms for something pink and make a donation to his pot.
We are over the moon and feel very privileged to be working alongside him this year and wish him well in his year as Mayor.
