It really was a home from home

A couple of weeks ago we had the most amazing celebration for Darcey’s 3rd birthday in the New Forest thanks to Hannah’s Holiday Home.

On arrival we were greeted by rabbits hopping around the garden which kick started the magical week. It really was a home from home – warm and cosy and so well equipped making the week completely stress free.

Darcey is due to have her 3rd open heart surgery in 2 weeks so having quality family time together was so precious.

Our memories of hospital time include bringing Darcey home intubated to pass away (she has surprised everyone) and so, this holiday was also a welcome distraction.

The week was topped off by a visit from Pam and some volunteers from the Teddy Bear Run who came with their fancy cars (which the kids loved) laden with presents for all of us. We were spoiled rotten!

Darcey has been saying ‘I love going on holiday’ ever since!
